Who We Are

Welcome to St. Andrew’s

Want to make a meaningful and lasting difference in the world? So do we. If you believe, as we do, that one of the greatest needs in the world today is to build bridges of grace, come join us!

We’re so thankful you’ve found us and hope you’ll explore our website to learn more about us. We invite you to come experience St. Andrew’s in person. Our historic worship, relevant vision and ministries seek to add value to the lives of others, helping them to know and live out their unique Kingdom calling. We have a high value for worship, making genuine connections, loving our neighbor, adding value to and serving in our community – building bridges of grace between God and his children…between each other… between our church and our neighbors.

What We’re About

Jesus gave the Church its mission in the Great Commandment and Great Commission, and St. Andrew’s vision represents the specific and unique way we are called to fulfill that mission…Building bridges of grace to take the love of Christ into the world. Transformation is God’s gift to help us in seeing the Vision and working to fulfill the Mission. As disciples we are…

  • Transformed by Worship

God created us for worship. Since the Garden, God’s desire was to be in a close and thoroughly life-giving relationship with humanity. When that vision was marred by human sin, God continued to invite us into a relationship through worship. By the time of the English Reformation, the theological framework of the transformational power of worship was well understood and expressed in the Latin expression, “Lex orandi, lex credendi” (as we worship, so we believe). Worship changes us as nothing else, drawing as into an ongoing relationship with God who created us, Jesus Christ who saves us, and the Holy Spirit who empowers us for life-giving ministry.

  • Transformed as Disciples

God loves us just as we are, but he loves us too much to leave us that way. This axiom expresses the ongoing transformation we experience as disciples of Jesus Christ. The work of the Holy Spirit is to continually form, shape, and transform us into the disciples we need to be to the glory of God. This transformation happens daily (not in a day), through study, discovery of spiritual gifts, mutual accountability, and seeking those areas of growth we need to better serve the Kingdom of God.

  • Transformed for Mission

The Bible, church history, and experience all witness to God’s desire to have us share in the Divine Mission to save and redeem the world. Jesus brings us into a relation for a purpose: to live out the Good News in love, grace, and service in such a way that others come to know and follow Him. This is what it means to be transformed for mission.
